Franklin Park Conservatory - John F. Wolfe Palm House - Version 2

The Franklin Park Conservatory is a great place to shoot flowers in their botanical gardens.  We didn't go in on this visit, but walked around the grounds instead.  Also saw a lot of wedding photographers
Went looking for flower shots, but found this view instead.

This was just a chance to test the panoramic stitching in CS6.  So, I just took 3 shots standing and stitched in CS6 and edited in Lightroom.

This is the John F. Wolfe Palm House.  One of the conservatories.

Went looking for flower shots, but found this view instead.  I took this one laying on the ground and added some HDR effects via Lightroom.  Had to use the B+W Circular Polarizer for this one.

The Runaway

"The Runaway"

Took several pics where she would run through the trees towards the water/sunset.  I wasn't 100% sure about the dock in the background, but I think it works.

Rhonda is on the right with Canon Flash on 1/4 power.

I like that it makes you asks some questions?
You are not sure where she it going?  Is she running from something?  Is there a boat waiting for her?  Is she running to catch the sunset?

Amish Parking Lot

This was the scene at the Amish Auction last weekend.  Was very hard to find a good spot to get a properly composed shot and time was limited.  I tried to capture the feeling when you walk up on 100 Amish "cars" and horses.

Amish Horse

This horse was "parked" at an Amish Auction, you can see the buggies in the background, from our recent trip to Amish Country.  We saw all the buggies and decided to take some discreet photos.

There were hundreds of Amish at this auction with plenty of buggies at the Amish Parking Lot.  (Photo coming soon!)

Amish Countryside - Berlin, OH

Shopping at Hershberger's Farm and Bakery in Berlin, OH in the heart of Amish Country.  We always stop here to pick up various breads to include cinnamon rolls and fruit pies.  This shot was from behind the store in the very back of their parking lot.

This was shot handheld and stitched together using Canon's stitching software that came with the camera from 3 shots.  I added an HDR preset effect from Scott Kelby's new Lightroom 5 book.
